“Farmers Branch is centrally located and poised to become the hub and home office for many businesses as new development moves from a vision to a reality over the next few years. Light rail transportation, new housing developments and a very proactive city organization poise Farmers Branch as the new center of the Metroplex and we are ready.”

The primary objectives of the City of Farmers Branch Purchasing Division are to be open and fair in all aspects of the procurement process and to foster a spirit of good will toward vendors. The Purchasing Division hopes the following information will help vendors become familiar with the City of Farmers Branch’s policies and procedures for procurement, which in turn, should aid them in selling their supplies, materials, equipment and/or services to the City.

Vendors are encouraged to visit with City departmental users. However, in exercising professional courtesy, it is suggested to first contact the Purchasing Division. Purchasing will help to direct the vendor to the department that utilizes their specific product and/or service.

Vendors are chosen based on bids, proposals and price quotes. Departments who utilize a good or service, in most cases, are the departments that solicit requests.

Prospective vendors are encouraged to send business materials to:

  • City of Farmers Branch
  • Purchasing Division
  • 13000 William Dodson Parkway
  • Farmers Branch, Texas 75234

Please feel free to contact the Purchasing Division at 972.919.2554.
