In a February 6, 2006 meeting, the City Council approved a concept plan for Essilor of America for their planned 19.8-acre national headquarters campus to be located between Stemmons Freeway and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad along Branch View Lane. Also approved was a site plan for the first Phase of Essilor’s new three-story, 89,200 square-foot headquarters office building to be located across Branch View Lane from their existing manufacturing facility at 13515 Stemmons Freeway.
