The Vacation House Watch program is a program developed by the Farmers Branch Police Department designed to provide peace of mind to Farmers Branch residents while they are away from home for extended periods of time. Employees of the Farmers Branch Police Department will physically check each registered house during a resident’s absence. Information provided by the resident makes it possible to contact them, or their designated key holder, in the event that the residence may need attention. The Vacation House Watch Program provides an overall increase in police presence around homes during a resident’s time away.
Note: The housewatch program excludes apartments and/or condominiums.
