About the Speakers

Pam Smith – Park Landscape Manager for the City of Farmers Branch will share her favorite roses from the Rose Gardens of Farmers Branch.

Judy Fender – Dallas County Master Gardener will inspire you to put some whimsy and art into the gardens. This will be joint meeting with the Dallas Area Historical Rose Society providing a great opportunity to identify some of the old garden roses in your landscape.

Steve Chaney –Horticultural Extension Agent in Ft. Worth for Texas AgriLife and a member of the EarthKind team will present the a method of landscaping that can give all a green thumb.

Mike Shoup – Owner of the Antique Rose Emporium will share with us his new book ‘Empress of the Garden’. Learn about these lovely roses as their characters are described. Books will be available for purchase and signing. 

Steven Chamblee - The Chief Horticulturist at Chandor Gardens the ‘Native Son’ in Neil Sperry's monthly e-newsletter will reveal must have plants for your landscape.
