“The greatest thing about Farmers Branch is the people. They provide the heart of the city and foster that small town atmosphere even in the midst of the bustling metro area. People can have their cake and eat it, too - small town feel with big city amenities. Farmers Branch rocks!…”

MANSKE LIBRARY ~ Patrons can bring canned food items to the Farmers Branch Manske Library, along with overdue Library items to have Library fines waived March 11 - 24.

Library Director Belinda Jacks said the program is designed to give those who may have forgotten their overdue items a chance to clear the ledger and do some good at the same time. "People responded well to the opportunity last year," she said. "We're hoping for an event better turnout this season."

Charges associated with previous fines, lost, billed, damaged or otherwise missing items cannot be waived and fines paid in the past are not subject to refund. All donated food will benefit Metrocrest Social Services and the families they support in Farmers Branch.
