LBJ Express Project update December 12, 2012

FARMERS BRANCH ~ Weekly updates are provided by LBJ Express Project, the construction company responsible for the 5-year project that will completely renovate the freeway from the Dallas North Tollway to Interstate 35E.
Denton Drive: ATT work requires lane closures on the west side of Denton through December 21. Denton will be closed under LBJ during night-time hours on December 21.
Josey Lane: Construction of the permanent paving and drainage on Josey and the east end of Villa Creek requires various lanes closed until late January.
Webb Chapel: The right northbound lane of Webb Chapel will be closed during off-peak periods daily beginning today through early next week.
Marsh Lane: The pavement and bridge work on the west side of Marsh south of Ridgeoak will continue until April. Expect off-peak lane closures this week and early next week on Marsh (usually during night-time hours) for bridge work. Additional frontage road lanes have been opened at Marsh to alleviate congestion.
Midway Road: All lanes have been reopened on Midway.
Dallas North Tollway: LBJ is narrowed to 3 main lanes in each direction at the DNT.
Other Locations:
Major construction activity on LBJ will be suspended between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
The new section of eastbound frontage road from Webb Chapel to Marsh is open. The new westbound frontage road from Valley View to Marsh will open in January. The new section of eastbound frontage road from Marsh to Midway should also be opened by January.
Various main lanes of LBJ will be closed frequently during night-time hours. There will also be intermittent night-time closures of various LBJ entrance and exit ramps. All scheduled work is tentative as permitted by weather conditions and other factors.
