Proposed code amendments for Brookhaven golf course lots

 FARMERS BRANCH ~ The City of Farmers Branch is proposing to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance in reference to the placement of future accessory structures in the rear yard of all residential lots adjacent to the Brookhaven Country Club golf course. On these golf course lots, the rear yard setback for accessory buildings is being changed from 3 feet to 15 feet.

In addition, the City is also amending the City Code of Ordinances (Section 22 - Buildling Regulations) to require all future fences adjacent to the Brookhaven Country Club golf course to be constructed of black metal material.

These amendments will be heard before the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, February 13, 2012 and before the City Council on Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
