Festive Fourth to be celebrated with food, fireworks, fun July 3

HISTORICAL PARK ~ Independence Day festivities will be celebrated in fine Farmers Branch fashion on Friday, July 3 at the Farmers Branch Historical Park with fun, food and fireworks.

Gates at the Historical Park open for the event at 6:30 p.m. with a concert by Emerald City starting at 8. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for the free event and concessions will be available for purchase. The evening will conclude with the traditional Independence Day fireworks display.

Parking will be at the Metrosquare Business Park, two blocks south of the Historical Park on Ford Road with a free shuttle to the gate. Handicapped parking will be at the DART Park and Ride on Denton Drive, just south of Valley View, also with a free shuttle. Call 972.919.2620.
